After observing Obama on the campaign trail and during his first six months in office, we have concluded that our President lives and governs according to his own set of “Ten Commandments.” They’re certainly NOT the Ten Commandments you learned in Sunday School. In fact, many are the direct opposite! To prove that our conclusions are correct, you will find a link to source documentation for each commandment on the Patriot Update web site.

Read the commandments here.

Survivor!

Once again, it’s time for another season of Survivor, one of my favorite shows.  This year, to celebrate their 20th year, they have casted old survivor players, Heroes verses Villains, and it looks like a very promising season!  My favorite all time player is Boston Rob, and he has my loyalty, but there are so many others I like too!  James is the man, lol, and Amanda is sweet… I even like Russell, although he is considered a villain.  Last season I started out hating him, but as the season went on, I liked him, go figure!  I won’t give away who was voted out, but I agreed with their choice, mainly because they were on a season I hadn’t watched, and I didn’t much care for their personality.  Anyway, can you tell I’m excited that Survivor is back on?  YEAH!  :)

RIP Phil Harris.

One of the captians of my favorite shows has passed away.Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dad – Captain Phil Harris. Dad has always been a fighter and continued to be until the end. For us and the crew, he was someone who never backed down. We will remember and celebrate that strength. Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. – Jake and Josh Harris

It is with tremendous sadness that I say goodbye to Phil Harris. Phil and I have been business partners and friends for nearly 20 years. We have been through a lot of ups and downs together with the F/V Cornelia Marie. As a skipper, he was a great fisherman. He loved his family and cared for his crew. We will all miss him. – Cornelia Marie Devlin

Statement from Discovery – Discovery mourns the loss of dear friend and colleague Captain Phil Harris. He was more than someone on our television screen. Phil was a devoted father and loyal friend to all who knew him. We will miss his straightforward honesty, wicked sense of humor and enormous heart. We share our tremendous sadness over this loss with the millions of viewers who followed Phil’s every move. We send our thoughts and prayers to Phil’s sons Josh and Jake and the Cornelia Marie crew.

Auction

Yesterday we flyboys went to the annual TCRC auction on the southside of cities.
There were some real nice planes but I felt compelled to bold on to my money. Until a sig wonder was going for 30 bucks. I just had to get it. Les bought a engine, Luke and Doc went home emptyhanded.

Mya…

Image

Isn’t she pretty?  This picture was taken after her hair was trimmed.  It’s starting to get long again after the haircut she gave herself a while back.  You can’t see it in this picture, but she has a hair pick stuck in her hair in the back, lol.  If only I had as much hair as she does!
