Keeping it short today. I’m exhausted!!! First epcot and soaring then magic kingdom with all that it has. LOTS OF PEOPLE!!!! there is no recession don’t kid yourself. I’ll write more tomorrow when we get home.

Day two was spent at Animal Kingdom. I had fun today, all the animals seemed strangely “happy” to be confined at the park. We went and saw it tough to be bug, Asia, Everest, Dino land before having some lunch and buying plushies for Mya . From there we went and saw a show about birds and on to Africa and the obligatory safari. A quick swing by Mickey’s camp and then back to our hotel for a quick respit.

For the evening we chos Downtown Disney, way more adult than enything else. Did some shopping and some eating. Barb really liked it and so did I. It was fun! As usual I’ll attach a few photos and will write more tomorrow.

Well, there it was. Disneyworld day one done. Went to EPCOT. Day started with breakfast with the princesses. Mya seem to enjoy it a lot! Got a bit shy around her favorite princesses around her. She got to meet them all (I think, what do I know). I’ll have photos up when we get back. After the breakfast we went to see some Nemo thing and from there on to see a treehugger film (circle of life) with timon and pumbaa. Going to go on soaring but with 80 minute wait it was not happening. Maybe the next day. At that poin Jenny and Mya took off on their own and so did we.

We went to see the different countries and took a bunch of photos of them all. Finished the day by visiting the big golfball thingy and then ate at a English pub. After all that it was already almost 6 so we headed “home”.

The resort is fine except the beds are made of solid rock and Internet hookups kinda ancient, ie no wifi at all.
After a handfull of aspirin in the morning to aliviate the bed it’s all good. It not like home and not supposed to be either.

Ok. It’s time to get going. It’s Animal Kingdom day today.

Typing this on my iPhone onboard a flight to sunny Orlando, FL. We are taking Mya and Jenny to Disney world. We have fully booked scedule ahead of us. Staying at disneys all star movies resort. Tomorrow morning we have a breakfast with the Princesses at Epcot. Tuesday is more of a freeform day and Wednesday is pampering day at Cindarellas castle, Mya is going to get her hair and nails done.
I think I’ll be taking a lot of pictures and I’ll create a new thingy on Flickr for Disney. I’m going to make this trip with minimal computing power, along I have my iPhone 3gs and my Dell mini 9 running win 7. Also along is my camera with all three lenses, and my Kodak Zi6.

I’m hoping the weather stays around 70 + degrees for the duration and we really don’t need any rain either.

I’ll post a photo now and then to the blog during the trip but the most of the photos will be uploaded once we get home. Cuz Disney does not provide free Internet in any form or shape. they really ought to join the 21st century.

We decided to go see Avatar tonight.  Miikka has been wanting to see it since it came out, but I didn’t want the crush of people from such a new film so we waited until tonight.  Of course by then we had heard things about it… the 3D is cool, but the plot is so-so.  I didn’t care, I was only going to see the special effects, lol.  Imagine my surprise when I actually enjoyed the movie!  Those almost 3 hours flew by.  The theater was still a bit crowded, so I was glad we waited.  And for the first time ever I actually liked Sigourney Weaver, lol.  It’s a film I don’t mind recommending!

Two weeks until Disney World!
