    This is something that I would expect in a third world country. Maybe that’s where we are heading. Talk about racial profiling along with gender discrimination. All this from a supreme court nominee. WOW!

    Now the quote might not be all accurate according to snopes.com but it could as well be. She has been called a activist judge and that’s what she is. Track record shows it.

    I look forward to going to Rick’s Freedom Field for the traditional 4th of July celebration he has going on out there.  It always amazes me that one man can be so generous with his time and money as Rick, who puts on the absolute BEST fireworks show in the area, and all free of charge.  And that is after letting all the rc hobbyists use his place all year for flying, boating and cars and trucks.  I hope he knows how much everyone appreciates all he does.

    On another note, I was watching the History channel this afternoon and they had a show about the presidents on.  I learned a couple of non-consequential things… there has only been one president who has had our country completely free from debt during his term.  Can you guess who it is?  Andrew Jackson.  His opponents called him “jackass” and he was so proud of it, he made the jackass the democratic mascot.  Now I will have to do some research to see how the GOP got the elephant, lol.

    I guess I will write more after tomorrow, and maybe post some pictures too.  The interesting thing this year will be how to repel the bugs during the fireworks now that we don’t smoke!  (Bugs don’t like nicotine.)  I hope whatever you decide to do that you have a happy and safe July 4!  :)
