    Yesterday I was out to the Freedom Field to fly my trainer. Then Engine would not dial in at all. I had the majority of the veteran flyers there to assist me in trying to tune it in but it would not tune in no matter what. It kept stalling and stalling either it was too rich or too lean but never right on the money.

    The veterans suggested that I contact tower and get a new engine or get credit for it and get a O.S. engine. I called tower this morning and explained it all and they told me to call back after noon when the service techs were there.

    I’m hoping they will be ok if I exchange it for a O.S. engine… I’ll add to this post after my call again.

    • Fly today or not for a week..

    I want to get out and fly today because snow is moving in on us tomorrow. They are promising us like 3-6 inches of the white stuff and we are in April! C’mon!!! no more! I’m already is spring mode.

    A fellow flyer was gracious to help me with my new trainer, look it over and maiden it. I sure do appreciate it because I really don’t feel like crashing it on the first landing.

    I got my 6 channel radio up and running and now the u-can-do-3d EP is less of a handfull.

    • Freedom Field RC 2007 Chili feed..

    Yesterday many of the pilots form Freedom Field had our get together that included Chili and a bonfire. We were planning to do some flying before the feed and the fire. But the weather gods were not with us.

    It was pouring!!! It didn’t matter I think we all had a good time. And as a newbie I got to introduce myself to more people and know them in the process.

    I posted some some pics from it in the photos section. Enjoy.

    Oh and my plane arrived!!!!  It’s all put together and ready to maiden as soon as the weather allows.
