I just upgraded to WordPress 2.1 and so far everything is working just fine.

I had to get a new version of ecto and change the xmlrpc.php file a bit but after that it seems faster than ever.

Last night I watched CRANK and all I can say is that it was a balls to the walls action all the way thru the movie.
It had som really funny moments thruout the movie and Jason Statham did an awsome role in it. So, if you like action movies without any deep messages or just want to be entertained.. go and rent it!

I also signed up for Blockbuster total access as a way to rent all the seasons of 24. We’ll see if the plan is as good as it sounds.

What else? My knee and foot are still hurting so I cant join the other guys from the office to go skiiing so I lent my boots, skiis and poles to Isaac who promised to take good care of them. I think my downhill skiing days are over.

I really need to see a dr. about my knee and my foot….. guess I’m putting it off for some unknown reason.

Traffic in first snow. MLK day.

Last night it started to snow… and it kept on snowing all night long! Our first snow!!! It’s hard not to be excited about it. On my lengthy commute this morning I saw 4 cars in the ditch. This is a picture of the first one. It took me over an hour to get to the office. It was SLOW going.

What else?

Oh last night our living room got an update. Previously I sold the 125gl fish tank and made some room, then we bought a 50″ plasma… and yesterday after a visit to IKEA we bought a new component shelf. I put it all together last night being the excellent handyman I am (pun).

It looks good. and now we have a lot more space. Also watched the new episodes of 24, and I might just get hooked on that show.

Oh well, back to work.

Plasma all around

Yesterday we got rid of our 125 gallon fishtank… It was kind of nice but at the same time I kind of miss the fishes.

With the newly gained space in our living room we got the urge to create even more space! So how can on do that?
Easy – get rid of the 62″ TV and get a plasma to hang on the wall!

So last night I spent hours with the wallmount for the plasma. and then hanging it up. Looks REAL good! 50″ Plasma rocks now that we have HDTV service too.

Now I gotta sell the old TV and I promised to clean up the computer room / office this coming weekend.
