The dock can power a laptop eight hours a day, five days a week for a month. Apparently the boffins are working on a miniature version which can power a laptop for more than 15 hours “on a coffee cup’s worth of fuel”. Although it is not clear how much fuel there is in a cup of coffee.

The world has rid itself of a small piece of evil.
Saddam was executed not long ago!

About time I say…

RIP James Brown

Jb

The godfather of soul passed away on christmas day at 1:45 am.

Slowly moving traffic.

Traffic jam during my commute.

Good thing I didnt get a PS3

TAPS?

TAPS or clogged pipes?

X-files and xbox.

Spent the day watching old but good x-files episodes on TNT.

I had forgotten how much I liked that show. Right now I’m watching 40-year-old-virgin in HD.

Also have spent some time trying to get a 12+1 month xbox live subscription to work.

I bought it from ebay and the seller is very forthcoming and trying to help, but ultimately it might no be his problem but Microsoft’s.

I keep getting an error-code when trying to redeem the code. Pisses me off! It’s all over the xbox forums and MS is not taking any action at all.

Lets see what else is new. It would seem that the friend of mine I have is sufficently pissed off to totally ignore me. I’m not going to discount him as I see him as a good friend no matter what he thinks of me. Maybe I just need to get over my feeling of playing second fiddle…

Oh well, time will tell.

BitTorrent merges with uTorrent

BitTorrent Inc. has just bought (merged with) the popular BitTorrent client, uTorrent for an undisclosed sum. Both CEOs are available for discussion on IRC. This is not cool. Or is it?

As a recent switcher to Mac I’m looking forward to the uTorrent OS X port but it’s also sad that the best client out there sold to the worst client with major music and movie industry ties and bad DRM’s.

Rambling on..

Yesterday I was rambling on and venting my frustrations…
So I doubt the post made any sense to outside viewers. I’ll see where this status quo takes it.

What else… oooh I bought a xbox live 12 month subscription card thru ebay.. the person had good rep but now after almost 48 hours it would seem like i got stiffed of $40. Dammit.
I’ll file a dispute and see what happens.

Quiet times.

The last few months/weeks/days have been kinda wierd.

Someone who I see as very close friend has gone thru a major change from my point of view. Started out by being frustrated from work related issues as far as I could gather. Progressed to more frustration that then kind of spread to outside of workplace.

Like what one might ask? Things like normal domestic issues if reminded of a few times gets to him to the point where he draws the conclusion that he is not welcome and has to ask for an invite before coming over.

We have never requested an invite.. more or less one is always welcome unless we explicitly say otherwise.

And the latest I guess was just the straw that broke the camels back. My friend and I made plans for him to come over now that I have to invite him. This was to just hang out and eat some b-day cake. Cancellation came the same day…  For me it was a slap in the face more so when the reason was revealed.

Since then I have not initiated contact since it would seem that there is a que system to friendship and I lost my ticket and been sent to the back of line.

Maybe some growth is required.. And maybe I should not be so quick to judge… Or maybe I have just changed?

Single digits this morning.

Cold morning!
