It’s Sunday evening and we have been prepping the basement all weekend.

New ceiling, cleanup, put away bar stuff and more.

The Firebird was sold on Saturday :[ …

But I got a RC plane .. a multiplex easystar.

    • New AC/Furnace… Washer/Dryer…

    You know my boss just quoted something to me…
    “When you have to eat a shit sandwich don’t nibble.”

    Isn’t that the truth.

    Our Furnace/AC has been on the path to the grave for some time now. Finally we decided to get them replaced. Chose the top of the line energy efficient models from a nearby installer, and while we were at it we chose to do the water-heater at the same time too.

    If that was not enough our washer broke down…
    We went to home depot to get new ones, well they didn’t offer delivery so we had to rent a truck from them and haul them over here by ourselves.

    Thankfully Ralph helped me to take them down to the basement so I could hook them up.
    right before hooking them up I was going to take the old ones out of the room. The washer being filled with wet clothing and water and broken, I started to mess with the buttons and guess what? The damn thing works! Too late the bring the new ones back so we might as well install them and give the old ones away to my sister in law for her new house.

    Now all that is left before I leave for vegas on wednesday is to redo the basement ceiling… urgh.

    We got a new camera yesterday… a Canon PowerShot S2 IS.

    All I can say is that it just rocks! It came with a puny 16 meg SD card so I ordered a new 1 gig card thru ebay yesterday.

    Well, I guess I have not been updating the blog for a while… what is new since last time?

    Jenny is moving back, Isaac and me are going to fly out there to drive the truck back over laborday weekend.

    Our furnace/AC needs to be replaced real bad… leaking like a siv and not coping with the warm weather, And I guess we’ll replace the water heater at the same time.

    Last thunderstorm we had broke our microwave too… what next huh?

    Oh well…
