Poor kitty….

Well, the full blood panel of Bonkers came in today. Vet said his kidneys are going bad, hyper-thyroid is oncoming and that he has lost 1/4 of his wight in a year.

On top of that we got him a lion-cut.

This morning he was still unable to walk properly and was still groggy from the sedative.

I feel so bad for Bonkers.. he is a mangy cat… and he not the friendliest cat around… but he is our kitty. He is part of the family and we love him.

Kitty shave..

I get to be the bad guy once more, Took Bonkers to the vet for a checkup and a shave. One lion cut coming up….

I know it has to be done but it still feels cruel.
We had to give him a sedation pill even before taking him to the vet. The vet will give him a couple of sedation shots to knock him out so the pet groomer can shave him.

I’ll post some before and after shots here when we get him back.
