I just got myself a new set of wheels… a 99 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL. Nice ride I’ll say. I needed someting with better gas mileage than my truck.

Early mornings.. and hit and run’s

So.. lets recap this week…
Tuesday I was hit my truck by a 92 year old geezer. At the stor parking lot I just backed out and stationary in the isle while this old guy backs out of the handicapped spot. I honked the horn more than one and at the end even just held it down – no reaction — bonk he backed into my trucks passanger door leaving a dent.

So I get out to inspect the damage and tell the dude that we should both drive to the side and do the paperwork. I thought he understood but now I know he did not. He just took off!!! Not fast but still.

He drove into the next door store’s parking lot and I followed, jumped out of the truck and trying to get the guy’s attention, he just blew me off! What am I to do? I called the cops… “So it was a hit and run huh?” My answer was… well not exactly a run..” The geezers walk was as fast as a toddlers crawl. They dispathed a squad car to the parking lot.

When the cops arrived the old dude was just about to take off again, I told the cops that they should try to stop the dude, he almost ran over the senior officer too while he was trying to stop him. Apparently he took off because he did not think there was any damage. The police asked me if I wanted to press charges against the old guy… heck no all I want is to get him to deal with me and the paperwork for the accident.

A report was written all is well…. except the world is a scary place now that I know of the 92 year old traffic danger in his green lumina.

Thursday night wsa just a mess.. I was to get up early to take Tom to the VA. Leaving at 5:45 am… now you would think I’d go to bed early? no sirrie… Not for lack of trying… Could not fall asleep at all.. and Spok was having one of his midnight romps… geez!!! Literally threw him out of the bed like three times and he kept coming back for more, there is no was that head has a brain even the size of a peanut!

Oh well now I’m sitting here in the VA cafeteria looking at a dry egg salad hoagie, sipping on good home made coffee and writing this. I’ll send this one to here as soon as I find network connection.
