My wonderful wife :* got me some very cool presents! A TiVo and a DVD burner for my PC! That is so cool!!!

A Minnesota senator is suggesting a email tax to keep the spam down… or a do-not-mail list. Would not the would be spammersuse thath list to spam people? Sheesh!

This thing just rocks! It is fairly accurate up to 20 feet and can scare cats out of this world! It was like 15 bucks at the mall but it’s fun like 100!

Brian my nephew came home from school today with a small electronic box that resemblance a pack of smokes. His assignment is to follow the instructions of the box that tells him to go outside every now and then to have a “smoke”.
Every time he is supposed to take a puff he is to say a line into the box, like smoking is bad for you and so on.
All in all it’s a good thing to proove that smoking is bad for you but when the kids are graded on it it’s just plain wrong.
I thought this country was based on choices and not teachers brainwashing kids. I do agree that is a very bad habit but in dong this they are forcing kids to do something that is close behavior modification. It is like the ads that coke used to show inbetween frames in a movie to get folks to drink coke. The gov. put a stop to that but will will they stop this nonsense? I dont think so, a bunch of liberal crap.
Summary would be… good lesson, bad method – shame on you schools!

This years first snow fell today. It started around 9am with light snowfall and then just picked up the pace, by noon it we had around 3 inches on top of cars and on the grass. Snow that fell on the roads melted right away.
Later on in the afternoon the it turned into sleet and then into rain.
It is still around freezing but it’s not snowing anymore, tomorrow morning will be interesting drive to work.
