    I cannot believe that the majority of the Swedes were as demented as they were today… They voted no to the EURO, you know the unified european currency. I mean the only nations that do belong to the european union that do not participate in the monetary union are the Danish and the Britts… and now the swedes.

    C’mon, sure you want to be independent and all but to what cost? All the nations that will be joining in like the baltic states will certainly see the benefit of the unified currency. And the Danish will sooner or later change their minds as they do most of their import and export with nations that have adopted the euro as their currency.

    The Britts might not adopt the currency most likely because they live on a freaking island and think they are so special, well they will be special as they will stand outside of the major decisions made in the EU just like the Swedes. In Sweden many corporations who deal with EURO countries will move operations to other countries with less taxes and a unified currency, that will mean that prices will increase in Sweden and taxes will go up as will the unemployment.

    Sheesh, another great move by the swedes..

    Boy I am so glad I left.

    Almost done with all of the office moves. Thank god! The corporate office actually gave us a reward for being souch dilligent workers, a piece of paper to hang on the wall and and some cash. I guess the cash might just cover a tank of gas for my truck. Atleast it’s something, and shows that they do appreciate our work and the not paid overtime we do.

    What else is new? Well, I changed my mind when it comes to laptops. No longer do I look at the Dell because it does not have a airline/empower adapter for it. I mean the dell would have been pretty nice with it’s UXGA screen but for less $$ I can get a very cool Toshiba satelite 5205-S505 with SXGA. How often can I use 1600 x 1200 on a 15″ screen? i think 1440 is good enough. The only caviat is the GPU.. only a Geforce 4 go instead of a ATI 9000 series.

    Oh well, I am still few weeks from getting it cuz I am waiting for $$ from our REFI.
