It has been a hectic couple of weeks with the office move and fixing the shop in our house….

Mine and Barbs anniversary is coming up! 5 years! It has felt like two years tops!!! I love her more and more every day!!!

yard work

The weather finally gave us a nice weekend to do our yard work, and Cheryl and her kids showed up early yesterday morning to rake and clean up the yard. The kids and I made an agreement weeks ago that they would clean the yard if I helped them get their mother a birthday present from them. They got her a really nice green cleaning machine, and we got a really good job done on the yard! THANKS McCARTEN KIDS!!!

And here is a little pic of the finished product… our nice yard!

Moving day at the office…

It’s time again to have the dreaded moving day at the office… I am moving back to my cube and so are everyone in the IT team.

Hooking everyone up today and tomorrow saturday is kind of a drag but can you do?

It’s now like 6pm and I can finally go home for today.

Every day is a learing experience.. just take the other day when I finally got it what the expression “Riding/taking the short bus” means. Now how the F would I know what that meant? Where I grew up there was no school-busses, you walked, rode the bike or took a taxi whether you were a tard or not.

What about the funny bone… there is like nothing funny about it… frggin hurts!

Sheesh, wonder how many more expressions like that there are, and how many times will they prove my stupidity when someone mentions them and I just don’t get it.

Last night….

Stayed the night at Isaacs, I think I got to bed around 3:30-4 am after a night of malt beverages, and plenty of them.

Got up at 11:30am and still 45 minutes after that I have a slight headache.

Floor…

Yes, we FINALLY finished the dang floor! What a job that was. Had we known what a job it would be, there would no doubt be linolium in there. But now that it’s done, I am glad we worked on getting the hard wood floor in shape. I just wonder how long it will be before the smell is gone? Anyway, my thanks to my wonderful husband, Miikka, and my Dad… well done!
